When your dog’s behavior feels overwhelming or confusing, guessing isn’t helpful.
A clear understanding is.

Ashley Foster, B.S., CBCC-KA, offers in-person and virtual canine behavior consulting grounded in decades of professional experience, advanced assessment skills, and support, with thoughtful, evidence-based solutions that make change effective, manageable, and lasting.

When you’ve tried trainers, classes, advice, and other resources, and your dog’s behavior still isn’t improving, it’s easy to feel discouraged or stuck.

Most people don’t lack effort.
They lack clear answers.

Without understanding what actually drives the behavior, even well-intentioned training can feel like guesswork. Strategies change, recommendations conflict, and progress may appear briefly — only to unravel again.

Behavior doesn’t change through effort alone; it changes when the clarity behind the behavior is fully understood, and the work is customized from there.

That clarity

is where this work begins.

My work is grounded in decades of professional experience, advanced assessment skills, and a steady, effective approach to behavior change.

Rather than cycling through techniques, the process begins with identifying what’s driving the behavior, so support can be targeted, not reactive.

Thoughtful, accurate early assessment often prevents prolonged trial-and-error and the feeling of being stuck in endless sessions.

All work is grounded in humane, evidence-based practices and designed to support lasting change without unnecessary sessions, pressure, or overwhelm.
